Orthobiologics

Orthobiologics are substances naturally found in the human body that are used to improve the healing process of broken bones and injured muscles, tendons, and ligaments. When used in higher concentrations, orthobiologic substances can accelerate the healing process. Dr. Chen performs in-office, ultrasound-guided infiltration of orthobiologics for healing soft tissue and ligamentous injuries. In surgery, Dr. Chen utilizes orthobiologics to augment ligament, soft-tissue, or bony healing.
