Dr. Chen’s office has on-site x-ray imaging, fluoroscopic imaging, and ultrasound. These diagnostic modalities are useful because they allow him to determine during your appointment whether you have a fracture or how your fracture is healing. His live fluoroscopy allows him to perform image-guided manipulation and reduction of fractures. Dr. Chen is skilled in the use of ultrasound as a diagnostic tool to evaluate for soft-tissue injuries. He also performs ultrasound-guided infiltration of medication or orthobiologics into soft tissue and joints.
